Obituary for Roy Dee Edwards Sr.
Roy Dee Edwards, Sr., 77, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, formerly from Montgomery died June 14, 2023. He was born December 21, 1945, in Montgomery to the late William Gomer and Betsy Hampton Edwards. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Marsha Edwards.
He retired from Super Value Corporation in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and was a Veteran of the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife Mildred Joyce Pettit Edwards of Ft. Wayne, IN., son; Roy Edwards, Jr. (Krissy) of Dunlow, WV, daughter; Sarah Totten (Marlow) of Ft. Wayne, IN., brother; Maurice Edwards of Ansted, sisters; Lorene Hudnall of Montgomery, Phyllis Welch of Montgomery, Tammy Prete (Louie) of Parkersburg, and Doris Edwards of Montgomery.
Service will be at 1PM on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at O’Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery with Rev. Greg Petry officiating. Burial with Military Honors by the US Navy Honor Guard will be at Montgomery Memorial Park in London. Visitation will be held from 12PM until the time of service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
