Obituary for Samuel Lawson Hager
Samuel Lawson Hager, age 55 of Glasgow passed away on May 13, 2017 after a long battle with kidney disease and diabetes. He was born in Charleston on September 11, 1961 to the late Carroll and Betty Knight Hager.
He was a 1980 graduate of DuPont High School. He was a used car salesman, but his passion was auctions.
He is survived by sisters; Susan Hitt of Belle, MO., Carol Riley of Glasgow, and Shelley Hager of Glasgow, brother; Travis Hager (Shauna) of Harts, WV, nephew; Zachary Hager of Glasgow, uncle; Carl Knight of West Palm Beach, FL., along with several other nieces and nephews. Special friends Joe Darlington and Eddie Hamilton.
Funeral service will be at 1PM on Friday May 19, 2017 at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Joe Darlington officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Friends may call from 6-9PM on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery. Expressions of sympathy may be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
