Obituary for Margaret Ann McClellan

Margaret Ann McClellan, 89, of Montgomery, WV passed peacefully at Hubbard Hospice House on Friday, August 2, 2019. Born in Montgomery on June 3, 1930 to the late Albert L. and Bertie Mildred Anderson Welch, she was predeceased by her husband Jack D. McClellan and son Jack A. McClellan. An avid painter, gardener and cook, Margaret enjoyed family and friends as well as her long standing membership at Montgomery Baptist Church where she was active in all phases of its ministry. Margaret was a graduate of East Bank High School Class of 1948, and those surviving left to cherish her memory are her children; Karen Divita (Jim) of Chesapeake, VA., Michael McClellan (Melanie) of Charleston, WV, Susie Jones of Daytona Beach, FL., grandchildren; Jimmy, Steven, Michael, Graham, Levi, Luke, Emily, Jennifer and Jack. She also leaves behind 4 great-grandchildren. Service will be at 11AM on Monday, August 5, 2019 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. C.J. Rider officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Friends may call from 6 to 9PM on Sunday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery.
