Rosalie Rice age 96 of Longwood, FL formerly of Hugheston died May 2, 2019. She was born April 24, 1923 in Hugheston and was the daughter of Charles Orion and Mary Catherine Belcher Rice. She was also preceded in death by her brother Dr. Otis Rice and sisters Alma N. Rice and Sarah Lee Skaggs.

She was a graduate of East Bank High School and a member of the Hughes Community Church where she was a member of the choir. Rosalie was retired from the Montgomery Ward Company as a controller book keeper and she was Baptized in the Jordon River.

Surviving: niece Martha Thomas of Longwood, FL; brother-in-law David Skaggs of Longwood, FL; great nephews David N. Thomas of Longwood, FL and Matthew K. Thomas of Virginia Beach; great nephews Gabriel and Jackson Thomas and great niece Jocelyn Thomas.

Service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday May 12, 2019 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Pastor Gary Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London.
