Condolence: There is no doubt, Roger will be greatly missed by so many. Personally, I have many fond memories of being with Roger at Boomer Baptist Church. We played basketball together, attended church, youth group and Sunday School together. Roger and his entire Family was alway so kind to me. I know he is enjoying a heavenly reunion with his Uncle Dale (one of our SS teachers), and cousins Angie and Todd. I will never forget Roger and his Family for all their kindness. My he rest in peace and may his family find comfort and peace during this most difficult time. Matthew Ch 5 vs 4: Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. As Roger and Todd would always say to me when we were kids...." don't take any wooden nickels" Miss you my friend. Thank you for being you and for being a positive influence in my life as a child. I look forward to seeing you again on the other side. Mitch Ball Harrisonburg / Bridgewater, VA

Condolence: I had the pleasure of working with Roger at the Bridgeport, AL plant and our encounters quickly went from “Roger is coming down to work on the audit” to “my friend is coming to town”. He even let me use his hair brush when I went to the Alloy plant, which he quickly told me “Not just anyone gets to use this” and we laughed. He left an impact wherever he went and it was always a positive one. He told countless stories about his grandchildren and would smile through the whole story. One would never have to ask whether they were loved or not because it shined right through him. He also told many stories about his adventures while fishing or traveling and would laugh at himself right along with us, maybe even harder than we were. His laugh was contagious though and so we laughed harder. I feel blessed to have met such a kind soul to call my friend and will miss him, his stories, and visits dearly. Holding all of his family and friends close in my thoughts and praying for peace in understanding the sudden loss of a truly wonderful person.

Condolence: "Live a vital life... If you live well, it will show in your face; it will show in the texture of your voice. There will be something unique and magical about you if you live well. It will infuse not only your personal life but also your business life. And it will give you a vitality nothing else can give." -Jim Rohn. Roger lived a vital life, one that touched many both in his professional and personal circles. With Roger, those circles were not mutually exclusive; those of us who had the pleasure of working for and with Roger became his friends. I always looked forward to the opportunity to speak with Roger, as I knew my day would be better because of that interaction. He made me smile and laugh often, and those he loved were so close to his heart that we business folks feel that we know each of you personally. He appreciated the gifts of an abundant life and took nothing for granted. I am personally grateful to have known Roger, and my heart breaks for his beloved family at this sudden loss.

Condolence: My sincerest sympathies at this time for the family. You do not know me but I worked with Roger for the past 10 years travelling to the various plants doing audits with him. I feel I know you as Roger always shared family memories and would constantly keep me updated on his Bubba, Bella and Jillie. He had a great love of family and was very proud of all of you. I will miss him and the way he would start to laugh out of nowhere because his mind always found humor in the littlest thing.
