Harold D. “Bubby” Kidd age 79 of Tad died April 7, 2019. He was born March 19, 1940 in Kanawha County to the late Samuel and Naoma Smith Kidd. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers; Kendal Kidd, Kenny Kidd, and sister; Margie Giles.

He was retired from Ashland Exploration Inc. with 33/2 and a member of the First Baptist Church of Standard. He was a former member of Armstrong Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.

Surviving: companion of 9 years Linda Hern of Chesapeake; grandson; Brandon Scott Davis, brother Lotcha Kidd; sisters LuAnn, Midge, Maxine Miller, Patricia Parsons and Peggy Kidd.

Service will be 1:30 PM on Thursday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Jeff Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call from 6-9PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
