Condolence: Gordon was a dear friend, loved by many. He was always looking for ways to help and brighten the day for others - making daily rounds at the hospital, directing traffic for funerals, "roadrunning", waving or stopping frequently to chat, always spreading joy. The world needs more Gordon's.

Condolence: I remember Gordon well from growing up in Montgomery. I worked at Foley's Supermarket with him. He had such as great sense of humor and very outgoing personality. The world would be a better place if there were more Gordon's around. RIP Gordon. I'll see you again someday.

Condolence: Gordon was a constant in our childhood, and kept an eye on us no matter where we were or what we were up to, which sometimes wasn’t always good, lol. He’ll have a special place in Heaven & will be missed greatly here on Earth. Prayers for friends & family!

Condolence: Our Condolences go out to Gordon's friends & family. He was put on this earth for a special reason - he was the most out going person we have ever known. He will be missed by a lot of people. If he could say it - he would say shed no tears for he need them not - all he needs is your smile. If you feel sad do not think of him for that's what he would like when you live in the hearts of those you love, remember then you never die.

Condolence: What a special man. When my mom was in the hospital repeatedly with cancer, he would take the bus to Charleston to sit with her and we all loved him. I hope all the people he brought joy to give him a wonderful homecoming.
