Rev. Phyllis E. Bowling age 85 of Cannelton went home to be with the Lord on February 5, 2019. She was born May 23, 1933 in Boomer and was the daughter of the late Harry Leo and Mary Catherine Wood Burford. She was also preceded in death by her husband Pearley Bowling and grandson Steven Bowling.
She was a minister in the Church of God and she had pastored the Elk Ridge Community Church, Beards Fork Church of God, Richwood Church of God and London Church of God. She was a former member of the Richwood Garden Club and secretary of the Richwood ministerial association.
Surviving; sons Rocky and wife Delphia, Terry, Steve and wife Kay, David and Patrick and wife Kathy; grandchildren Obadiah, Mary, Gary, Shane , Israel, Joseph, Jerimiah and Brandon; great-grandchildren Luna, Hannah, Eden, Caleb, Cal, Caitland and Tristan.
Service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Billy Morris, Rev. Roger Comer officiating. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
