Obituary for Katherine June "Kay Jr." Bayes
Katherine June “Kay Jr.” Bayes age 74 of Kimberly died January 6, 2019. She was born August 23, 1944 in Montgomery and was the daughter of the late Charles L. “Sonny” and Katherine Ware Knight.
She was formerly active with her therapy service Dog “Roxie around the local nursing facilities.
Surviving: husband Robert “Bobby” Bayes; sister Cheryl Daniels and husband Lindsey of Charleston; nieces Kathleen Carson of Lafayette, LA and Suzy Jefferies and husband Bobby of Lafayette, LA and four great nieces and nephews.
Service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Tom McGraw officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London. Friends may call two hours prior to service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
