Obituary for Bonita Denise "Cherry" Coping

Bonita Denise Coping “Cherry” 56 of Montgomery left this earth to be with the Lord on October 23, 2018. She was born on November 29, 1961 to Evelyn Coping and Sidney Buzzy Tinsley.

Cherry was a very loving and caring person, a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother.

Bonita was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; James and Virginia Coping, paternal grandparents; Sid and Nora Tinsley, brother; Elwin “Wonnie” Tinsley, nephew; Andre’ Coping and great nephew; Sebastian Coping.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents; Evelyn Coping and Sidney “Buzzy” Tinsley, her three sons; Maurice, Nicholas, and Stefon all of Montgomery. Her brother; Sidney “Dink” Tinsley, sisters; Virginia (Roddrick) Clemons of Montgomery, Endora “Peach” Cooper, and Angela “Angie” Cooper all of Montgomery, and 9 grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory is her friend and ex-husband Walker (Shopho) Conliffe, with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family wants to give a special thanks to nurse Sonja and the rest of the staff of the Hospice Staff for all they did for our precious Cherry Bo.

Homegoing celebration will be held at 1PM on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Eagle Central Baptist Church with Bishop Isaac Woods officiating.
