Obituary for Christa June Blankenship
Christa June Blankenship, 70, of Boomer passed away on September 12, 2018. She was born on November 11, 1947 in Gauley Bridge to the late Truman E. and Lula Frances Thompson Light.
She was retired from Spillman, Thomas, and Battle Law Offices in Charleston, WV. A member of the New Heights Baptist Church, Charlton Heights. A graduate of Fayetteville High School, class of 1966 and attended West Virginia State College.
She is survived by her children; David Blankenship of Elkhart, IN., Stephen Blankenship of Evansville, IN., Michael Blankenship of Nashville, NC., Jaime Timmins of Shipshewana, IN., six grandchildren, sister; Trula (Bill) Raynes of Robson, brother; David (Brenda) Light of Oak Hill.
Service will be on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 1PM at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Pastor James Nesson officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
