Obituary for Faye Marie Grounds
Faye Marie Grounds, 89, of Montgomery Heights passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at CAMC Memorial Division. She was born on March 10, 1929 in Julian, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents; Julian and Nellie Sigmon, husband; Homer Grounds, grandson; Justin M. Grounds, and several siblings.
Faye loved her family and going to family reunions, and everyone loved and enjoyed her fried chicken.
She is survived by her sons; Robert Grounds of Elkridge, Timothy (Beverly) Grounds of Powellton, brother; Charles (Shirley) Sigmon of Mount Carbon, sister; Betty (Charles) Underwood of Beckley, grandson; Jonah (Gina) Grounds of Powellton, three granddaughters, and several special nieces and nephews.
Service will be at 1PM on Monday, September 17, 2018 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Jeff Floyd officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Visitation will be from 11AM-1PM on Monday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
