Bessie Pauline Bass 84 of Montgomery passed away May 7, 2018. She was born in Gassaway, WV on May 3, 1934 to the late Scott and Rose Boggs Friend. She was also predeceased by her son Matthew Eagle and first husband Woodrow Eagle.

She was retired from WVUIT and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ, Morris Drive, Montgomery, WV.

She is survived by her husband Troy Bass, children; Mike Eagle (Teresa) of South Charleston, David Eagle (Robin) of Hansford, Kathy Shamblin (Corey) of Big Chimney, sister; Imogene Perrine of Newton Falls, OH., grandchildren; Katie, Matt, Jenna, and many other family members.

Service will be at 1PM on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Frank Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
