Aunt Katherine, Mom told me more than once you can't really know the pain your heart feels when you have lost the person you have loved for so many years, but the memories help to make the pain go away for a while. So let those memories of Uncle Howard warm your heart, bring a smile to your face and help overcome the pain even if it is only for a little while. Our thoughts are with you. Edie, Lee, Louise and Carl, This is one of the most difficult and painful times you will face, you will think about Uncle Howard most every day. I think God made memories so we could enjoy our parents even after they are gone so cherish the memories and always take care of Aunt Katherine she needs you now and she will need you all of her tomorrows.
