Condolences

Condolence From: Rev. Andrew & Cindy McDavid
Condolence: To: Mrs. Minnie Davenport and Family
We were deeply saddened for a moment to hear of the home going of Rev. Freddie Davenport, saddened because we will never see him down here again, but happy because we will see him again up in glory. We are also happy because we know the Lord has ushered in another soldier into his heavenly arms, and boy, He knows He has a good one. My prayer now is ,Lord thank you for giving us this spiritual giant, may the rest of us reach at least half of his potential. Family, may you find comfort in knowing that Rev. Davenport ran a great race, and I am grateful that he passed by me even at the end. May God continue to comfort your hearts. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Our hearts go out to you at this sad time. We know that what you are going through is hard.....
We trust that friends and relatives will continue to be there for you to provide comfort for as long as it is necessary.
Having lost such a great man who has done so much for others, you can be sure that you have gained an angel in heaven who will watch over you and all of us too. We keep the family in our prayers.

Condolence From: Beth Moore
Condolence: May fond memories of your dear loved one bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share these.  My heart and sympathies go out to you and your family.

Proverbs 10:7 The memory of the righteous one is due for a blessing."

Something that gives us great comfort is the Bible truth that death is not the dot or period at the end of a sentence, but rather the comma or pause because our dear loved ones will live again. We know that we will see our loved ones again because the beautiful promise recorded at Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore."  What a truly special day so close at hand to be able to embrace our loved ones again!

Condolence From: Patty Hobbs Watkins
Condolence: Sending this message from our Dad Russell Hobbs who worked alongside of and knew your father and mother as good friends. Daddy still speaks often of your family. Of course we children all attended school together and Cannelton Elementary and MHS. Our Dad now lives in Tazewell Va where my sister and I tend to him at his home. Mom has already gone home. Praying for your family knowing this will take along time to grieve but still rejoicing that he is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus CHrist.
