Brenda (Humphrey) McKinney

I graduated from GBHS in 1976, and had Coach Morrison for one of my classes. He was a great teacher and coach. In class on a Monday, after losing a very important football game, he sat there the whole period talking about how important teamwork and good sportsmanship was, and not to be ashamed of losing when you've tried hard and done your best. I know Coach Morrison saw the hurt and disappointment on our faces, especially one player in that classroom. After the encouraging and uplifting words he shared with us, we all left that class with our heads held high and proud to be Travellers. He was that kind of mentor, as well. Praying for God's comfort to all who loved him.
