Obituary for Earl Earnest Jenkins

Earl Earnest Jenkins 96 of Smithers went home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2017.

He was WWII Veteran with the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Plants Jenkins, his wife Gypsy Louise Ward Jenkins, daughters; Laura Elizabeth Jenkins, Marcella Jenkins Hudson-Kerns, Lois Carol Jenkins, and son Earl Allen Jenkins, brothers; William, Charles, Howard, Clinton, Jimmy, and two siblings lost in infancy.

Earl had one surviving sister; Opal Potesta. In addition to his sister, he is survived by his son; Ernest Russell Jenkins (Deloris), daughters; Linda Lou Jenkins, Mary Louise Jenkins Gillispie, Sue Jenkins Carol (Jim). Earl was a grandfather to 17 grandchildren and also a great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather to several as well as many nieces and nephews.

Service will be at 1PM on Monday, October 30, 2017 at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Wilson Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow where a Military Honor Guard Service will be held. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
