Mary Madeline Prichard Tyler age 98 of Standard died October 12, 2017. She was born April 30, 1919 at Burnwell and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Lennie Spradling Prichard. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ernest Tyler, her son James Tyler and daughter Tina Ramos.

She was a member and Sunday School Teacher at Burnwell Church of the Nazarene and a retired Postal Clerk.

Surviving: children Carl Tyler of Los Angeles, CA, Steven Tyler of Dunbar, Linda Stoner of Norfolk, VA and Kay Hines of Mt. Gilead, OH; special niece Patricia Bowyer of Barnesville, OH; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Mary's wonderful neighbors Dave and Theresa Snodgrass and Gordon and Carolyn McCune.

Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. John Prichard, Rev. Jeff Floyd and Rev. Kevin Whitcher officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Montgomery General Extended Care Activities or the Burnwell Church of the Nazarene.
