Obituary for Phyllis Jean Thomas
Phyllis Jean Thomas 84 of Smithers, died July 29, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents Hamp and Sylvia Akers and son David Wesley Thomas.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years Robert Wesley “Bob” Thomas of Smithers, daughter-in-law; Kathy Thomas of Mount Carbon, grandson; Brian Thomas of Mount Carbon, and great-grandson Bryce, brothers Charles Akers of Clarksburg and Bobby Akers and wife Joan of Ashland, Ky.
The family would like to thank all the staff of Montgomery Elderly Care for all the love and care they provided over the last few years.
Service will be 1PM on Thursday August 3, 2017 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Chester Bird and Pastor Jon Dillon officiating. Entombment will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Glasgow. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home. O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
