Obituary for Ruth Ellen Leavens
Ruth Ellen Leavens age 80 of Kimberly died February 9, 2017. She was born December 23, 1936 in Kanawha County and was the daughter of the late Charles and Ella Sanborn Leavens. She was also preceded in death by sisters Betty Boggess and her husband Clifford, Dixie McCallister and her husband Orin and Nancy E. Skaggs and her husband Richard; brother Charles Leavens and his wife Lorena.
Ruth was retired from Southern Public Service Company in Montgomery with 52 years of service.
Surviving: nephews Richard L. Skaggs and his wife Karen, Jason L. Skaggs and Corey Skaggs; nieces Diana L. Atkins and her husband Dan, Barbara F. Harris and her husband Jerry, Rhonda A. Deem and her husband Chris, Nancy K. McCallister and Lauren E. Skaggs.
Service will be 2:00 PM Monday at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Pastor Jeff Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
