John Darrow Nutter age 71 of Powellton died October 13, 2014. He was born July 30, 1943 at Powellton, WV and was the son of the late John Mack and Dollie Gladys Marie Nutter. He was also preceded in death by his wife Emma "Woodie" Nutter.

John was a retired coal miner and was a member of the UMWA.

Survivors are his daughter Kiena Nutter and her husband Dan LeRoy of Beaver Falls, PA and a son, Devin Nutter and his wife Melissa Borrelli of Newnan, GA; sister, Jackie Crockettt of Ravenswood; grandchildren; Carys, Greer, Grant and Charlotte.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Friday at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow with Fr. Mark Gallipeau officiating. Burial will follow in the memorial garden.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made to Hospice Care 1606 Kanawha Blvd, W> Charleston, WV 25312-2536
