Obituary for David Ray Maggard

David Ray Maggard 67 of Dry Branch died on October 16, 2018. He was born on February 26, 1951 in Wevaco, WV to the late Ralph and Dorothy Lanham Ellis Maggard.

He was assistant Pastor at The Church of Jesus Christ in Kanawha City and was a roof bolter retired from US Steel Coal Co.

He is survived by his wife June Ellen Rose Maggard, son; Steven McGraw of Dry Branch, sisters; Debbie (Roger) Causey of Savannah, Ga., Sharon (Tom) Paxton of Savannah, Ga., Sherry (Mike) King of Columbus, OH., 5 grandchildren that he dearly loved; Megan, Haley, Steven, Kassidy, Karissa, 3 great-grandchildren; Lydia, Atilyn and Zayden, and his Aunt Donna of Hinesville, Ga.

Service will be at 2PM on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ in Kanawha City with Pastor Paul Rose and Elder Brian Cumbee officiating. Friends may call from noon until time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Marmet Cemetery and expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
