Obituary for Guy Jordan "Jimmy" Gray
Guy Jordan “Jimmy” Gray 69 of Kimberly died September 22, 2018. He was born in Ansted on April 18, 1949 to the late Melvin and Mildred Bayes Gray. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his wife Margaret L. Schoolcraft Gray.
He was a retired Police Officer with 39 years of service with the Cities of Montgomery and Smithers. He was a member of the Open Door Community Church and also attended Elk Ridge Community Church.
He is survived by his son; Shanty Gray (Jessica Epperson) of Charleston, step-children; Melissia Senter (Michael Johnson) of Columbia, Michelle Stuart of Kimberly, Tabby Jones (Gene) Shrewsbury, brothers; Melvin Gray, Billy Gray, Danny Gray, sister; Linda Gray, as well as several grand and great-grandchildren,
Service will be on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 2PM at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Pastor Brenda Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Friends may call from noon until time of service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
