Obituary for Selwyn J. "Chuck" Sizemore

Selwyn J. “Chuck” Sizemore age 58 of Cannelton went home to be with the Lord on August 6, 2018. He was born January 8, 1960 and he is the son of James Sizemore of Hughes Creek and the late Zela Johnson Sizemore. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Wilma Garretson and Sue Whitlock and brother-in-law Frank Proctor.

Chuck’s family was the most important thing of his life. He was employed at London Recycling. Chuck was always hardworking and loved his work and he was a gentle man but a stern man.

Surviving in addition to his father is his wife Tara Bowe Sizemore; children Selwyn “CJ” Sizemore II and his wife Brittany Fannin Sizemore, Matthew Sizemore and Kaitlyn Sizemore; brothers and sisters Rose Johnston of Oak Hill, James “Frank” Becky Sizemore of Kincaid, Homer “Bubby” and Cheryl Sizemore of Montgomery, Wilbur “Poncho” Sizemore and Sharon of Montgomery, Letha Proctor of London, Dallas Sizemore of London, Harold and Linda Sizemore of Cannelton and brother-in-in law Steve Whitlock of Powellton.

Service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, August 10, 2018 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Jeff Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London.
