Condolences

Condolence From: Jerry Racer
Condolence: RIP Coach Turner; I am shocked to hear of his passing, we at Nitro Jr. High will surely miss him. He was a great coach and a great communicator, always wishing well of all, one memory I have is his willingness to drive from Smithers to Nitro to teach, 50 miles back then in his beige brown VW Bug.

Condolence: Was sorry to hear of Coach's passing. I hadn't seen him in years, but when I did he always remembered me and called me by my last name. Bill was my coach at Nitro Jr High. He was a great man and liked by everyone. It was a different world then, "Coach", was the first negro person I ever met. Probably the first for many people in Nitro. The strange thing is nobody that knew him ever saw color. He was the only black person at Nitro but no one ever thought that for one second. He was just Coach Turner and everyone in town would of had his back! He will always remembered as a great man by all who came in contact with him at Nitro Jr High.

Condolence: I had Coach Turner for Phys Ed in the 7th Grade at NJHS about 50+ years ago. At that time Coach Turner was the first African-American authority figure I had contact with in my life. He was a role model for all. I really liked Coach Turner and I had a lot of respect for him. I have thought of him often over the years. RIP Sir!

Condolence: My condolences to the Lovette families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear William. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28, 29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is further confirmed by Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering.
