Obituary for Jeanetta Alice Rodgers
Jeanetta Rodgers, 86, of Deep Water, went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2018 at Glasgow Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 12, 1931 in Handley, WV to the late Charles and Violet King. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray Rodgers, brothers Charles King and Robert King; and sisters, Virginia Upole and Dorothy “Annalee” Young.
She was a devoted Christian and member and greeter at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Mount Carbon.
She is survived by sons Charles Rodgers and wife Cheryl of Goose Creek, SC, and Bob Rodgers of Diamond; daughters Marcella Pritt of Glen and Lois Rodgers of Smithers, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren who loved her dearly.
Service will be 2PM on Monday, January 15, 2018 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Pastor Greg Hurley officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
