Obituary for Elton Eugene "Gene" Johnson
On this day Elton Eugene "Gene" Johnson age 69 of Charleston our Heavenly Father took a wonderful angel home. He was a very loving, caring husband, father, and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents Ross and Helen Rapp Johnson, son Kenneth Pritt and sister Lana Johnson Leake, and a brother Landon (Lanny) Johnson.
He is survived by his wife Nola Duncan Johnson his brother Wayne Johnson and his wife Pam; previous wife Joanna Cray who is a dear friend; children Melissa Pritt of Charleston, Mary Pritt of Ripley, Delila Coleman of TN, Leanna Dabbous of Sweden, Melissa Johnson of Ohio and Penny Baughman of Ohio; 20 grandchildren and his very good and dear close friend and brother from another mother Wayne Sowers.
Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Brother John Wriston officiating. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
