Obituary for William H. "Wish Bone" Sullivan

William H. "Wish Bone" Sullivan Jr. age 77 of Effingham, SC formerly of Smithers went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2017. He was born June 16, 1940 in Kanawha City and was the son of the late William H. and Margaret Hastings Sullivan. He was also predeceased by his son Clyde Sullivan and sister Joyce and brother Eric.

He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a former member of the Brothers of the Wheel "Kanawha Chapter. He was also a member of Aerie 1040 of Fraternal Order of Eagles in Montgomery.

Surviving is his wife of 55 years Evelyn Carrico Sullivan; children Tina (Sam) Spain of Ohio, Billy (Sarah) Sullivan of SC and Greg (April) Sullivan of Hawaii; daughter-in-law Laura Sullivan of Hugheston and the very proud grandfather to his 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; he also left behind 4 sisters Patricia, Celeste, Barbara and Kathy and brothers Carl and Richard.

Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Tim Howell and Rev. Ron Eagle officiating. Entombment will be in Montgomery Memorial Park Mausoleum. Friends may call from 6:00PM until 9:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home and expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
