Obituary for Billie Jean Seacrist
Billie Jean Seacrist age 88 of Gallagher died September 22, 2017. She was born November 21, 1928 in Washington County, PA and was the daughter of the late William and Betty Hillyer. She was also preceded in death by her son Franklin Seacrist and several brothers and sisters.
She was a member of Gallagher Church of the Nazarene and she loved being with her family and her church family and she always wanted to make sure everyone was fed.
Surviving: children Ardenna Viles of Indenpendence, KY, Betty Withrow of Gallagher, Edward "Bo" Seacrist and his wife Gail of Crown Hill, Samuel Seacrist and his wife Nancy of Massilon, OH and Michael "Baby Boy" Walker and his wife Cherri of Tazewell, VA; sister Doris O'Dell and her husband Hubert of Smithers; brothers John William Hillyer and his wife Donna of Salem, OR, Benny Hillyer and his wife Lisa of Nebraska, Charles Freddie Menefee of Hitchins, KY and Luther "Hawk" Jefferies; 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 40 great-great-grandchildren.
Service will Monday at 12:00 Noon at the Gallagher Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Daniel Saylor officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery where expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
