Obituary for Nona Maxine Johnson
Nona Maxine Johnson age 78 of Powellton died April 10, 2017. She was born April 24, 1938 at Gacoma and was the daughter of Lewis and Helen Coleman Prather Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband George Johnson Sr. and a daughter Sharon Johnson.
Surviving: children Michael Johnson and wife Melissa of Powellton, George Johnson Jr. and wife Kimberly of Montgomery, Nancy Sizemore and husband Paul of Powellton, Jerry Johnson and wife Patricia of Powellton and Tommy Johnson and wife Sue of Powellton; sisters Brenda Kincaid and Idona Carte both of Ohio, Jane Ford of PA and Catherine Hamilton of FL; 19 grandchildren 23 great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11:00 AM Friday at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Greg Francis officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
