Imogene  Roat
Imogene Roat age 88 of Cannelton died March 30, 2016. She was born June 1, 1928 at Marting and she was the daughter of the late John and Rosie Slayton Oiler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six of her children.

She was a member of Spoken Word Tabernacle in Beaver.

She is survived by her husband George W. Roat; daughter Georgette Watson of Cannelton; brother Sam Oiler of Smithers and niece Rexanna Oiler of Cannelton; 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren..

Service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Roy Shrewsbury and Rev. Ronnie Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow.
