Obituary for Pauline Carol Fish
Pauline Carol Fish of Boomer died December 26, 2016. She was born on January 22,
1932 in Wyndell and was the daughter of the late Charles H. Vance and Mabel Keenan
Vance. Pauline was one of 11 children and she was preceded in death by her siblings
Willis Vance, Dot Krise, Norma Kincaid, Wanda Murphy, Ed Vance, Carmen Price and
Jim Vance.
She was a devoted wife to her loving husband and caregiver Timmy Fish and a wonderful
mother to her children Janie Wampler and husband Bob of Gainesville, GA, Nancy Allan
and husband Bob of Knoxville, TN, Linda Anderson and husband Glenn of Charleston
and James R. Fish Jr. of Boomer. She was a cherished grandmother to Eric and Jason
Wampler, Brandon and Brian Allan, Erin Anderson Goodell, Michael Anderson and
Courtney Fish; great-grandmother to Natalie Wampler, Mason and Joshua Allan; and
sister to Brenda See of Hansford, Mary Hill of Sanford, NC and Daniel Vance of Dixie.
Service will be 1:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2016, at O’Dell Funeral Home,
Montgomery with Pastor Gary Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley
Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Friends and family may call at 12:00 PM, one hour prior to
