Obituary for William Laird Graves
William L. Graves was born in Montgomery on January 22, 1956. He was the youngest son born to Rush and Cleo Graves.
William graduated from Montgomery High School and he attended Upward Bound. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. The thing he enjoyed the most were his talks with Sister Francis Watkins.
William leaves behind to cherish his memories his brothers Leonard (Freda) Graves of Dunkirk, MD, Mitchell (Renada) Graves of Waldorf, MD and Alvin (Ann) Graves of Westland, PA; sisters Carolyn Graves of North Page, Cynthia (Ralph) Coles of Dearborn, MI and Terry (Joseph) Davenport of Dunbar, WV; special niece Lashanda Graves and family of Oak Hill and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Service will be Saturday 1:00 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. Joseph Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Haven Memorial Park at Ingram Branch.
