Obituary for Roge Jean Arbaugh

Roge Jean Arbaugh, 79, of Kanawha Falls, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 2, 2016 following a brief battle with cancer. Roge was a humble servant of the Lord Jesus Christ who worked tirelessly to spread the Gospel through her Christian tract ministry. She loved God's word and used every opportunity to share the love of Jesus and to present the plan of salvation to the unsaved. Roge was born on February 25, 1937 to the late George and Rosetta (Stork) Wilson in Kanawha Falls, WV.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Bill Wilson, Chuck Wilson, Eldon Wilson, Bob Wilson and June Wilson. She was a devoted wife and mother to her family.

She is survived by her loving husband Ernest C. "Mutt" Arbaugh; her children Harold Ball and wife Brenda of Christiansburg, VA, Douglas Ball and wife Vicki of Holland, MI, Mitchell Ball and wife Rhonda of Harrisonburg, VA, Clinton Arbaugh and wife Sheila of Morgantown, WV; and Patrick Arbaugh and wife Tiffany of Cross Lanes, WV; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Ike Wilson and Lonnie Wilson as well as her sister Louise Cantrell.

Roge was a member of Carbondale Baptist Church where she frequently shared her testimony and her beautiful songs which she wrote through the inspiration of Christ. Her love for God was evident in her every conversation and deed.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Carbondale Baptist Church in Smithers, WV from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Carbondale Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Floyd and Rev. Ron Eagle officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow, WV. O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery is in charge of arrangements.
