Obituary for Harold Vernon Estep

Harold V. Estep age 94 of Kimberly died June 4, 2016. He was born October 9, 1921 in Culloden, WV and was the son of the late Harrison and Ines Turley Estep. He was also preceded in death by his wife Pansey Merritt Estep and a brother Fred R. Estep.

He was a Christian and a member of the Kimberly Church of God. He was a former member of Smithers and Montgomery fire departments and a charter member of the Armstrong Creek Volunteer Fire Department. He was retired from Marathon Coal Company.

Surviving: children Larry Estep and wife Pam of Lesage, Janice Estep Lipscomb and husband David of Gallagher and Shannon Estep and wife Pam of Kimberly; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Kimberly Church of God with Rev. Tom McGraw and Rev. Gary Tincher officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call two hours prior to service at the church. O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital, 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229.
