Obituary for Okey Edward Russell

Okey Edward Russell age 92 of Handley died May 30, 2016 in Charleston.

Okey retired from the West Virginia Army National Guard and was a deacon in the Handley Baptist Church. He served God, served his Country, and his fellow man his whole life.

He is survived by his son, Jerry and grandson Jeremy of Thomasville, North Carolina. Granddaughter Suzanne Stamper and her husband Jim of East Bank, great - granddaughters Ashley of Georgia, and Kylee and great-grandson Chase of East Bank.

Service will be 1PM on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with the Rev. Tim Pell officiating. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park, London. Friends may call on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
