Gary Ray “Weasel” Young Jr., 41 of Powellton passed away October 18, 2011. He was born March 7, 1970 in Abington, PA and is the son of Gary and Linda Barber Young of Powellton. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Lucille Young, Thomas and Maxine Barber, and also a brother Daniel Allen Young.
He was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Mt. Carbon. He employed as a landscaper in the grounds crew at West Virginia University of Technology.
Survivors in addition to his parents is his wife Tina, son, Gary “Bit” Young, brother, Richard and his wife Christina Young of Robson; sister, Beverly Riddle of Kimberly; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and his father and mother in law, Nathan and Clarice Rollins of Robson.
Service will be 1:00 PM Saturday October 22, 2011 at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Mt. Carbon with the Rev. Greg Hurley officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
