Joyce Anna Vencill age 71 passed away February 23, 2012 to spend her birthday with the Lord. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was born February 23, 1941 at Longacre and she was the daughter of the late Willie and Zelma Samples Spangler.
She was a member of the Montgomery Baptist Church and she was secretary at Montgomery Baptist Church. She was a member of the sassy sisters of the Red Hats and she was a world traveler.
Surviving: husband Jim Bill Vencill; daughter Rose Legg and her husband Joe; son Mike Vencill and his wife Karen of Mt. Holly, NC; grandchildren Amber, Kristin and J.T.
Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. C. J. Rider officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call two hours prior to service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
